In August of 1981 while assigneed to the 547 military police battalion at fort sill oaklahoma, I was standding with owner behind his vehicle approx 100 yrd from gate 3. The vehicle was facing outbound it was night time. The vehicle was stopped because there were sparks coming from under the back end as it was moving. As I owner and I were bent over looking under the vehicle to see what was dragging under it, I noticed a flash from behid us,turned to see instantly a car bearing down on us. Grabbing the owner then pushing him out of the way, I just cleared the passenger quarter when I was struck on my left hip.as the to cars touched I became trapped causing me to spin like a screw between cars. Shortly after being hit and unable to pull myself out of the cars, I untwisted myself slowly reducing myself from the hold the two cars had on me. Other units started to arrive . I new that I wad injured so I placed myself on the ground and waited for the ambulance to arrive.
